EverQuest 2’s Darkly, Yet Appropriately, Named Dozekar PvP Server Is Live
Whether or not the dragon Dozekar will consider that a good thing is up for debate.
Today, Darkpaw Games launched a new Origins PvP server in EverQuest 2. The server is named after the cursed dragon Dozekar, which is destined to repeatedly die and be resurrected so that more mortals can come along and kill it again. It’s a bit dark, but appropriate, seeing as that’s what players will be doing to each other.
The server kicks things off in The Shattered Lands, offering players the classic 2006 MMORPG experience. The experience is truly classic since no expansions are unlocked at this time.
To accompany the server launch, Darkpaw has also launched the Origins PvP Pack, containing useful items that will help players on the server. Items include a 10% run speed buff, 14 backpack inventory slots, and 24 bank vault inventory slots. That should come in handy for all that loot players are hoping to obtain.
