The public alpha test for Vindictus: Defying Fate is officially live as of June 8 and runs through June 16.
You can jump into Nexon’s upcoming action RPG right now on Steam. This new alpha build expands on the March 2024 pre-alpha with fresh story content, multiplayer encounters, and a character customization feature called the Fitting Room.
In the demo, players join the Kalbram Mercenaries and head out on missions across areas like Colhen Village and Hoarfrost Hollow — both packed with hostile factions and intense battles. Multiplayer mode lets up to four players squad up through auto-matchmaking to take on tough boss monsters, but if you prefer going solo, those fights are still fair game.
Set in a grim dark fantasy world, the game delivers brutal, high-impact, skill-based combat. You’ll need to dodge, counter, and chain combos in fast-paced fights across fully 3D environments. Each playable character has their own unique style, and the fluid combat system rewards timing and precision.
