Due To Turkey Earthquake, FFXIV Has Temporarily Suspended Automatic Housing Demolition

FFXIV has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the automatic housing demolition due to the massive earthquake that occurred on Monday, February 6 that caused mass destruction across southeastern Turkey. This decision has been made out of consideraton for not only the damages and people's inability to physically log in, but also for the mental toll disasters like this cause. The Auto-Demolition counter suspension has already started..

This isn't worldwide though as auto demolition will be suspended only in all Chaos/ Light Data Center Worlds.

• If your estate or land is currently being prepared for auto-demolition, you can cancel this status by entering your estate or constructing an estate on your land.

• When the Auto-Demolition Counter resumes it will resume from the time remaining as of the temporary suspension. (Excludes estates/lands where the demolition process has been canceled.)

For now, there is no date when auto-demolition will resume, but the team at FFXIV will continue to monitor the situation and will post again when a decision has been made and auto-demolition will commence once more.
