Forge of Empires: Fellowship Event

Forge of Empires, the browser-based MMORTS by InnoGames, is kicking off a brand-new Fellowship Event from today until August 18. The annual event is back again, but will reward players will new prizes this year.

To start the event, players will need to choose one of the five heroes at the start, each giving a different layer of strategic play. Throughout traveling the land, players will need the skill set of their hero to deal with incidents that arise and resolve quests. Doing so lets players gain travel rations, which gives the necessary energy required to progress from city to city. With each stage of the journey, players can choose one of the three event figurines to visit that guard a mystery chest. Gaining the chest's contents will provide a way to grab the grand prize for the Fellowship Event.

This year's prize is the Heroes Tavern building. It can be upgraded to level ten and produces resources such as Coins, Population, Happiness, Forge Points, and boosts attack and defense for the player's attacking army. Players can also get buildings like Knights Pavilion through the Fellowship Event to provide extra goods and two randomized units based on the building's age. There's an Event Pass available now, too, providing an additional lane full of rewards.
