Four WWE Superstars Coming To Brawlhalla

Hellboy and Adventure Time were only the beginning. Blue Mammoth Games has announced yet another pop-culture crossover, and this time it's four superstars from World Wrestling Entertainment that will be flying from the top platform and laying the smackdown on the fighters of Brawhalla.

The Rock, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and Xavier Woods -- a noted gamer in his own right -- are joining the cast of the free-to-play platform fighter tomorrow, bringing with them some of their signature moves and favorite foreign objects. The game is also getting a new Brawldown mode, which takes place in a replica of a WWE ring, complete with springy ropes.

You can chuckle a little bit at all the wacky crossovers that Brawlhalla has added over the past few months, but on the surface, this one makes more sense than most. WWE wrestlers actually do fight each other in an arena, so it's no great stretch to imagine them duking it out in Brawlhalla. I think Blue Mammoth should try and think outside the box to figure out its next licensing opportunity, though. Maybe a Golden Girls crossover, where Dorothy can whack Blanche with a cane and Sophia can blow Rose out of the arena with an oxygen machine? Make it happen!
