Genshin Impact Announced Compensation For Version 2.7 Delay
Players will receive compensation every week from now until 2.7 launches.
Last week, HoYoVerse announced a delay of the release of Genshin Impact’s 2.7 update. The reason given at the time was simply “project progress”, with a promise of more information to come. They still haven’t offered more info as to what slowed down the update’s progress, but HoYoVerse did drop a post this morning detailing plans to compensate players for the delay.
Beginning today, players will receive weekly compensation. This will consist of 400 Primogems, a Fragile Resin, 7 Hero’s Wit, 16 Mystic Enhancement Ore, and 120,000 Mora. If the final week doesn’t actually take a week, compensation will be adjusted accordingly.
To receive compensation, players will need to be Adventure Rank 5 or higher and must claim the items before the end of Version 2.6. We’ll know when that is when it happens. Until then, compensation will be delivered to the players’ mail every Wednesday at 4:00 server time.
