HoyoVerse Delays Genshin Impact Version 2.7 Update
We’re sure there’s stuff you need to catch up on anyway.
If nothing else, HoyoVerse is pretty serious about its update schedule with Genshin Impact. Players rarely have to wait long for something new to do, whether it be an event or a full update. This time, however, there’s going to be a wait. Yesterday, the Genshin Impact team announced via Twitter that the Version 2.7 update will be delayed. They didn’t provide much info as to why. In fact, they just said that information will be coming in due time.
We will provide the corresponding information to Travelers as soon as possible.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your support and understanding along this journey.

In the meantime, there are still other things to do. In fact, the developer announced a new web event today titled “New Adventure? Let’s Go!” Players who want to earn in-game goodies for minimal effort can check that out on the game’s site. As for the details on the 2.7 delay, we will keep you updated.
