Wizards of the Coast is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the card game throughout the month of September. As part of the celebration, players can score free rewards from now until September 27. These rewards will include individual card rewards, gold, and card styles.

The company also plans to continue discussing the future of MTG Arena, including updates to the Explorer format, monetization systems within MTG Arena, and the future of Alchemy. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to earn up to 4,000 XP rewards by participating in events at local Wizards Play Network game stores.

As for events, Midweek Magic runs from Tuesday at 2 PM (PST) to Thursday at 2 PM (PST), featuring formats like Explorer and The Brothers' War Bot Draft. There are also Quick Draft events, such as Wilds of Eldraine, and other events like Wilds of Eldraine Sealed, Dark Tutelage Alchemy, Season of Growth Standard, and Gift Bag Historic.

Then there’s Qualifier events in September, including Best-of-One and Best-of-Three formats in the Wilds of Eldraine Limited format. The Arena Open in October offers a chance to compete in Wilds of Eldraine Sealed and Draft formats too.
