It’s Almost Time To Play Some Battlegrounds Duos In Hearthstone, Season 7 Nears

Blizzard promised Battleground Duos in Hearthstone and you’re about to get them Battlegrounds. Season 7 drops on April 16 and when it hits, players will be able to team up with a friend and challenge another team. When playing this mode in the collectible card game, a team will share life totals and pass cards through the Portal, so you’re really going to have to communicate to make sure things go smoothly.

With the launch of Duo will also come mode-specific heroes and minions that make the best of the mode. There are a total of 4 Duo-specific heroes, 16 minions, and 3 tavern spells. These can’t be used outside the mode. All of these have been shared in a post on the Hearthstone site.

Of course, if you’re not a Duos person, don’t worry, there will still be plenty to do. Season 7 brings a big minion update introducing 50 new minions. In addition, more than a dozen minions will be coming back. If that’s not enough, new Tavern spells are being added as well. Each of these features will be getting its own reveal over the coming days, beginning with new minion releases tomorrow.
