Jagex Announces Release Date For New Combat Skill Necromancy
This is the first standalone combat skill introduced in the game's history.
Your chance to raise the dead approaches.
Jagex has announced that RuneScape's new combat skill, Necromancy, will be released on August 7. Players will venture into Gielinor's underworld, interact with the undead, and enhance their powers to defeat the First Necromancer. The combat skill involves using a Death Guard and Skull Lantern to battle enemies and improve Necromancy, Rituals, and Runecrafting skills.
Necromancy will be free for players up to level 20. Also, this is kind of a big deal because it will be the first standalone combat skill introduced in the MMORPG's history. Jagex revealed that there’s more major updates planned for this year too, with Necromancy being one of them.
