Jandisoft To Hold Third Round Of Alpha Testing For Web-Based MMO Mad World Beginning October 25
The test will last for six days, ending on October 31.
Mad World, the cross-platform web-based MMO built on HTML5, will be entering its third round of global Alpha testing later this month. The test kicks off on October 25 and will run for six days, during which time the developer plans to test system stability and the “basic fun elements of the game”.
To participate in the test period, players will need to sign up via the official site by clicking the “Play Now” button. This is one of those where you can sign up with a social media account or the more traditional (and probably more appealing for most of you) way of creating an account with an email address.
For those not familiar with Mad World, the game features hand-drawn 2D art, full storylines with cutscenes, the ability to change classes in real-time, and competitive PvP. There’s also a detailed skill system, known as the “Potential” system that offers players the ability to create their own attack styles and patterns. (Effectively, it’s a fairly detailed skill-tree circle.) Of course, the biggest selling point of the game is that since it’s HTML5-based and on browsers, players can move from one device to another easily enough.
