Looter Shooter Marauders’ ‘Red Baron’ Update Drops On Steam
The game’s first major content update introduces its first boss.
Today, players of Team17 and Small Impact Games’ hardcore looter shooter Marauders will encounter the game’s first-ever boss, the Red Baron. The legendary pilot is introduced as part of the game’s first content update by the same name. As expected of the Red Baron, this particular boss is an ace dogfighter, capable of engaging in both close-quarter and space flight combat and will be a real problem for space pirates throughout the galaxy.
To celebrate the new content, the developers have shared an animated launch trailer that offers players a look at the in-game narrative as well as the origins of the Red Baron. For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s set in an alternative version of the 1990s where The Great War (World War I) still rages on. To escape the disaster that is modern-day Earth, most of humanity has fled the planet, taking up the pirate life in space.
Marauders is currently available in Early Access on Steam.
