MrBeast Confirms Plans To Purchase An LCS Team In Near Future
This could happen at any time in the next two years.
The rumors are true, it would appear that well-known YouTuber, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is now in the market to invest in a professional League of Legends team. During the pre-show for the upcoming 2022 League of Legends World Championship finals match between T1 and DRX, MrBeast confirmed that he is indeed interested in purchasing an LCS team in the future.
However, in normal MrBeast fashion, he wants to make sure he’s doing it right and at the right time, as he would like this future team that he invests in to make it to a Worlds finals. MrBeast mentioned that he may purchase a team within the next one or two years, but nothing has been mentioned if he plans to purchase a pre-existing team or build one from the ground up.
To those who know MrBeast, this should be no surprise, as the YouTuber has spoken openly about his appreciation for League many a time before.
