See 24 Minutes Of Throne & Liberty On Xbox And The Team Discusses Combat And The Impact Of Testing
Feedback on progression and combat are being taken seriously.
NCSoft is doing a bit of press on Throne & Liberty. Recently some of the devs sat down with Gamereactor to discuss the game. During the discussion, they addressed things like player feedback on combat and progression, how they’re responding to it, and more.
According to the interview, players felt progression was too slow and that there was too much grind. They’ve addressed that by allowing players to progress by completing only the necessary content.
The devs are also working to make the MMORPG's combat more dynamic, using features such as shape-shifting and the use of weather. This should create a more broad experience for players as well. The shape-shifting ability will allow players to transform into a golem that can take out a castle wall. It should be very handy in war.
The full video, along with a transcription, can be found on the Gamereactor site.
