Neverwinter Announces New Expansion, PS4 Arrival
Perfect World Entertainment announced the 10th expansion for their free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons-based MMO, Neverwinter, earlier today. In addition, they also revealed that the game will finally be making its way to the PlayStation 4.
Titled "Storm King's Thunder," the new expansion will introduce a story line in which giants arise. The story is based on a new one coming from Wizards of the Coast later this year. Players will be asked to travel to Bryn Shander and investigate the appearance of frost giants. Along the way they will be able to explore three new zones introduced by the expansion.
"Storm King's Thunder," will arrive on PC in August and on console -- including PS4 -- shortly after. Prior to the release, PS4 players will have some time to get caught up on the game, working their way through the previous nine expansions. Neverwinter will release on the console this summer, complete with all current content.
More information on the expansion and the PS4 release is available on the Neverwinter site.
