Cryptic Studios Moves Neverwinter’s Dragonbone Vale Console Release Up To February 1
Getting content a week early is always good, right?
Console players, grab your enchanted grappling hooks and get ready to head into the Sword Mountains as you take on Neverwinter’s latest update...and you’ll get to do it a week sooner than you thought you would. No, we’re not exactly sure why. Consider it a present. The Dragonbone Vale update sees the return of Valindra Shadowmantle, who has joined forces with the Cult of the Dragon. Now, it’s up to players to head to the cult’s home in the Sword Mountains and deal with the threat before they create undead dragons to Faerun.
In addition to the undead dragon problem, the new update also offers players a way to scale the Sword Mountains with a new grappling mechanic. It also introduces a new faction reputation system. As for dealing with Valindra, that will be done via a new 10-player trial, The Crown of Keldegonn. Here players will confront both Valindra and the dracolich Palhavorithyn on the dwarven ruins of Keldegonn. The Epic adventure takes place in the Sword Mountain’s Scaleblight Summit region where members of the Shield of the North Alliance wage an attack on the location of the great ritual to stop the Cult of the Dragon from breaking undeath to all dragons. And, of course, there are quality of life improvements as well.
