This solo event kicks off on Thursday.
Neverwinter has returned with "The Hell Pit" event to test players again this year against waves of enemies. Surviving the encounters will reward players with several tokens based on the difficulty level and can be exchanged for new rewards.
The Hell Pit event begins on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on October 13. Players can only complete the event once a day, but can try as many times as they would like each day until they succeed. Every seven successful event completions hikes the difficulty and token payout until the showdown with the pit champion.
A minimum item level of 18,000 is required to enter and players above 60,000 will get scaled down to even the playing field. As noted by the devs, this is a solo event tracked on the account level and players can monitor their progress by the in-game event UI. As for the rewards, the event store will contain three sections, each item purchasable depends on the token used. With the Tokens of Participation, Tokens of Challenge, and Tokens of Achievement, players can gain rare items such as a Golden Warhorse or a Legendary Insignia Choice Pack for participating.
