New Extraction Shooter, Hawked, Coming To PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, And PC
If Indian Jones was an FPS game, this would be it.
The Netherlands-based publisher UPWAKE.ME has recently announced a brand-new multiplayer, extraction shooter titled HAWKED. The game will have players exploring a mysterious island, named X-Isle, with their friends as they battle greedy saurian Disciples in a search for treasure and mystical artifacts. In addition to fighting the monsters that dwell on the island, players will have to fight other teams, all while solving puzzles, avoiding traps and hazardous environments, and a load of other challenges.
A closed alpha for the game will start tomorrow, November 24 on Steam for PC players and will run until November 28. For the closed Alpha, the game mode will be Hunt, a mode where players will need to search the island for Artifacts around the island that can be looted from defeated players, but can also be gained through PvE encounters that will give players access to a “Vault” filled with multiple Artifacts. The player with the most Artifacts at the end of the round will be the winner. Teams that don’t win right away will have another chance later on, as their Artifacts will carry on to the next game.
The game trailer below shows a little of what to expect as players can zipline, surf, jump, and even soar through the lush jungle of X-Isle.
