New Low-Poly, Hardcore MMORPG Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore Launching May 1
The game is heavily inspired by Runescape and Ultima Online, featuring similar systems.
Hungry for a new MMORPG that looks like Runescape or Ultima Online? If you answered yes, then boy do we have news for you.
Indie developer Gellyberry Studios has announced their low-poly hardcore MMORPG Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore is coming out on May 1. The game is heavily inspired by the aforementioned classics and the team welcomes fans of both or either “to relive the glory days of min-maxing, crafting, and socializing.”
According to Gellyberry, Ethyrial is a challenging old-school MMORPG where players work together to explore the world of Irumesa and uncover its secrets. The game features a robust character and class system, instanced dungeons, raids, and world bosses, as well as crafting and property ownership.
Ethyrial has high-risk gameplay with the potential for unique loot and the risk of bounty hunters, and yes, PvP is certainly a thing so be careful out there. The story and systems of the game will constantly evolve and be shaped by player feedback, with expansions adding new content to the game.
Ethyrial will not be free-to-play, requiring a monthly subscription fee of $9.99.
