There’s a bunch of updates and events coming to the The Lord of the Rings Online, as per a recent livestream covering news for the free-to-play MMORPG.

Standing Stone Games announced that the Dark Worlds transfer process is ongoing, with servers like Sting recently opening up. Transfers will continue rotating over the coming weeks, although the team has limited capacity to resolve issues with older, inaccessible servers. A common transfer issue is certain characters or items not appearing in the transfer list, often due to automated systems that regulate server queue loads.

The Temple of Utugore “Leading the Charge” deed will conclude at 3 AM (ET) on Sunday, having been extended previously. Also starting on Sunday at 10 AM (ET) is the return of the Hard Attack crafting event, running through June 8 at 3 AM (ET). In addition, a loot box and embers/moats boost is live.

Update 44.2.1 is slated for release on Wednesday, bringing several bug fixes and improvements. These include corrections to combat mechanics in Dun Shuakh, fixing issues with specific NPCs (such as the weapon master not taking reduced damage), and resolving improper resets during boss encounters. It also fixes issues with Gundabad’s Defending the Shielded Citadel instance and a fishing quest bug in West Rohan. And, the Ordai Trader Cache will become properly bound to account as intended, affecting any existing unbound caches once they're removed from storage.

Next Wednesday at 2 PM (ET), the team will host the next “Casual Stroll” livestream — focusing on the major roads of Middle-earth and their development. The beta for Update 45 is also on the horizon, although no specific dates were announced.
