Once Again, It’s Time For The Tale Of The Shipwrecked Mariners In Lord of the Rings Online

As it’s September, The Lord of the Rings Online team has once again rolled out the Tale of the Shipwrecked Mariners. The event, which runs until September 24, tasks players of the MMORPG with collecting Kegs of Cram and Bottles of Ale along the river banks for Arigirion. At the same time, they can collect waterlogged crates containing special items and trade surplus Cram and Ale for some cosmetic items. While the quest can only be completed once, the items can continue to be collected and turned in for the cosmetics.

Of course, the secondary event, Stowaway: The Old Man on the Shore, is back as well. Once again, players can experience Falvnar’s story via a series of missions. Completing the missions will earn players the Mariner-themed cosmetic set as well as Legendary item XP.

For those who have done these before, it doesn’t seem that there’s too much new to pick up. But, of course, XP always comes in handy. And, hey, it can always be done on a different character if you haven’t completed it on them before.
