Despite this setback, players can look forward to conquering the Glacial Tarn Expedition, participating in the Winter Convergence celebration, and facing a new adversary: a Knight of the Round Table. Alongside these updates, new artifacts, a Season Journey, and a variety of challenges and rewards, including cosmetics and consumables, are introduced.
A central component of the new season's narrative involves a Knight of the Round Table uncovering forbidden knowledge to bring about an eternal winter. Players are tasked with rallying a team of Silver Crows and enlisting the help of a fire mage named Daichi to thwart the Knight's plans. The Glacial Tarn Expedition, a Level 65 experience, takes players to the frozen complex of the Great Cleave to confront the Varangian Knight Ser Loth — utilizing the power of the Empyrean Flame.
Additionally, a future update within the MMORPG's season promises Cross World Expeditions with an improved Group Finder, offering a seamless way for players to team up across different worlds within a region. Seasonal events like the Winter Convergence Festival and the Year of the Dragon are also coming, featuring new activities, challenges, and rewards. Players can claim a Scarlet-Masked Soldier Twitch Drop by watching New World content creators before January 9, 2024.
