Path Of Exile Legacy Of Phrecia

The Legacy of Phrecia has returned to Path of Exile, and things may feel a bit strange. During the event, all 19 of the ARPG’s Ascendancy classes are replaced with different ones. Players will be able to take on the role of a Servant of Arakaali to raise spiders – as one does. Or, they could become a Daughter of Oshabi and control the powers of nature, or become a Harbinger. As with the previous Legacy of Phrecia event, there are plenty of options to choose from.

If you participated in the previous version of this event, you’ll probably notice that a few things have changed. The latest version includes some balance changes. It also introduces a new set of modifiers for the Settlers League and Atlas Memories and completely disables modifiers for Breach. Players can mix and match mechanics to create an endgame experience they enjoy.

Other changes include the addition of mechanics players can’t control, such as each area having a random number of map modifiers, with the number increasing in relation to the area level. Campaign bosses also have some new mechanics of their own.

Of course, the event comes with rewards. Players receive rewards automatically for hitting levels 50 and 90 in the form of a Third Edict Mystery Box. Those who already have every item from that box will receive two Atlantis Mystery Boxes instead. (There’s no word as to what will happen if players happen to have everything from those boxes.)

As this is a returning event, Grinding Gear Games has elected to bring back the cosmetic bundles associated with it. So, if you missed out on those particular goodies before, you can pick them up now. There’s a good chance of the bundle containing a full armor set and extra effects, and players can expect a sizeable discount too.
