Once Again, Warframe Is Raising Funds To Fight Cancer
Digital Extremes is running a month-long fundraiser for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
If you love Warframe and love fighting cancer, this is your month. Today, Digital Extremes kicked off Warframe’s Quest to Conquer Cancer fundraising event. Throughout the month of October, players of the free-to-play MMO shooter can help with the fundraiser several ways, including watching Warframe streams, donating directly, purchasing “Conquera” merch (that’s real-world items like plushies and shirts), and purchasing in-game items.
DE is hoping to raise $100,000 CAD for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. And it looks like they’re well on their way with the site stating that a little over $11K CAD has been raised on the first day of the fundraiser. With 29 days to go, they could have a significant amount to donate to the charity at the end.
As donations come in, a selection of rewards will be unlocked for players. Unlocks occur at $5K and $10K and then every $10K after that. Currently, the $5K and $10K tiers have been unlocked and include a Conquera Glyph, Glyph Display, and Bird 3 Floof. These rewards are available across all platforms.
As for the streams players can watch, those kick off tomorrow and are listed on the Warframe site.
