Palia Now Available On PlayStation And Xbox, Along With New Elderwood Expansion
The mysterious forest contains fresh characters, quests, and gameplay systems.
Free-to-play social MMO Palia is out now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the game’s newest expansion, Elderwood, dropped today too.
The Elderwood expansion continues Palia’s main storyline and introduces a new Adventure Zone. Players can explore Elderwood, a lush, mystical forest teeming with magic and danger, while meeting new characters, tackling fresh quests, and mastering new gameplay systems. Among these are Artifact and Relic gathering mechanics, which offer buffs to entire parties. The zone also introduces Infected Essence, a rare material that demands specialized tools to collect.
Several core systems have received major updates too. Mining has been reworked to simplify the harvesting of Gold, Silver, and Palium. Players will also find new plant species and wood types scattered. And they can can now track down and hunt new wildlife, including the Ogopuu and the Rockhopper.
Additionally, there’s enhancements to farming, crafting, and housing. New exotic crops have been added for cooking as well, along with a slate of fresh crafting recipes. Lastly, players can decorate their homes with Elderwood Decor, and enjoy increased housing decor limits for more freedom when it comes to personality and creativity.
