Pax Dei Wilderness Alpha

If you’ve been waiting for news on the second Pax Dei alpha, we have it for you. Mainframe has news to share on the MMORPG’s progress today, asking players for some patience as they take a little extra time to clean up some of the rough edges. That said, players won’t have to wait too long as a date was also provided and the game’s second large-scale alpha test, “Wilderness Alpha”, will kick off on April 23.

When it launches, the test will offer players a chance to spread their wings and explore beyond the home valley. At least 100,000 players will be invited beginning day one, including those who were part of the first test. Those who’d like to take part will need to apply via the game’s site before April 15.

If you’re planning on taking part in this test, the devs do warn that it’s not a good idea to stray from the home valley without friends. Put together a party and make sure you have all the proper equipment if you don’t want whatever is in the wilderness to take you down. The test will also include updates to crafting, so that might be a big help.

There’s one more thing of note. If you’re hoping to stream the game during the test, you’re in luck. The test won’t be confidential, so stream away. More details on the Pax Dei Wilderness Alpha test can be found on the game’s site.
