Pearl Abyss Hosting Competition For Black Desert YouTubers
Create a Class Reboot video for a chance to win in-game rewards or cash prizes.
Are you a YouTuber or perhaps a video editor who also happens to play Black Desert Online and might like a chance to win up to $1,000? Then you’re going to want to pay attention to this. In honor of the recent Class Reboot rollout, Pearl Abyss is hosting a video competition, and offering submitters a chance to win up to $1,000 – or some in-game currency, depending on how your video ranks.
To participate in the contest, which runs until January 19, players must create a Class Reboot video and upload it to their YouTube channel. They’ll also need to make sure it’s labeled correctly with the appropriate hashtags and all, and that whatever the content of the video, the player’s Family/Character name is visible in it. If the video doesn’t meet these requirements, it won’t be eligible for the event. As for content, it is recommended that players do something along the lines of class introductions, a class reboot review, guides, or recommendations.
Should a video meet all the requirements, it can then be nominated by members of the Black Desert team, which means it’s eligible to compete for the big prizes and guarantees a few rewards already. That would be 20,000 Pearls, having the video uploaded to the BDO launcher and adventurer’s board, and having the video featured on the BDO YouTube and social platforms. As for the big prizes, those are reserved for the first through third place winners. First place receives $1,000, second gets $700, and third walks away with $500. These amounts are all in USD and will be converted for any winners in other countries.
If you’d like to enter, be sure to check out the official post on the Black Desert Online site and read all the little fine notes. No one wants to put in the effort to be disqualified on a technicality.
