Phantasy Star Online 2: NGS Headline Teases Winter Festivities, New Quests, And The Super Genesis Festival
Yes, rappies will be involved.
Today, Sega hosted another edition of the Phantasy Star Online 2: NGS Headline stream offering players a peek at the December updates as well as festive events. Things start on December 4 when players are able to access a new quest type named ARKS Training Center. It allows players to try out new actions in addition to M.A.R.S. without any restrictions like time limits.
Players of the MMORPG can also look forward to the return of Chilliest Chase in which they’ll use floating boards to chase and eliminate the giant mutant, Konigssee Yedi Geo, in order to earn special SP Scratch tickets. In addition, Force is getting a class update which includes a new class skill.
On December 10, the Super Genesis Festival ‘24 kicks off – just in time to honor the 3-and-a-half-year NGS anniversary. During the event, Central City will have a holiday theme and, of course, the rappies will be in on the action with the appearances of Reindeer Rappy, Saint Emperappy, and Saint Great Rappy. During the event, players will be able to purchase holiday decorations at the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop.
As for new quests, those arrive on December 18, along with trials. They include a new co-op Urgent Quest.
