Pick Up Over The Moon's "The Fall", Free This Week On EGS
This week's free Epic Games Store offering is dark. I don't mean in just the literal sense, it is visually dark, but in the sense that the player takes on the role of an AI suit currently housing the body of an unconscious human. And if said AI suit fails to find medical help? Well... You're left as a sentient being carrying around a corpse inside you.
FUN!
In Over The Moon's The Fall, players take on the role of ARID, an AI house in a combat suit, following a crash on an unknown world. During the crash, the human wearing the suit was injured and is now unconscious and ARID must find medical assistance for them, keeping the human alive until they get there.
Of course, it's not just a matter of walking across some unknown landscape. You're gonna have to explore, solve puzzles, and (of course) fight whatever less-than-friendly creatures you come across in order to complete your task.
The Fall generally costs about $10. So if you don't grab this as a freebie, it's probably not that big of a deal. But if you're unsure and want to give it a go without spending money on it, you're going to need to grab it before next Thursday.
