PlayStation Players Can Now Explore The Futuristic “Gesthos Sector” In Tower Of Fantasy
This new urban-style open-world area brings a futuristic, sci-fi feel to the game.
Today, Perfect World Games, the publisher of the PlayStation version of Tower of Fantasy announced the launch of Version 4.0 on the consoles. This version takes players to the “Gesthos Sector”, a futuristic sci-fi open-world zone. The update also introduces a new Simulacrum named Roslyn.
Gesthos is a shutdown supercomputer located in Hykros. It’s down because of a virus that may have caused the Omnium crisis. Players will need to locate this virus and upload their consciousness into the Gesthos Network World in order to deal with it. This requires players to become an Authorizer
Once inside the Gesthos Network World, players will find themselves in a futuristic city filled with towering buildings, holographic billboards, shuttlecraft, and everything else 80s and 90s cinema taught us to associate with the future. Note that new players do not have to play through all the game’s other story content to reach this zone. Rather, they’ll be granted immediate access.
As mentioned, the update also introduces a new Simulacrum to the MMORPG named Roslyn. She uses a Frost and Volt weapon named “Calm Waters” which is available today. Calm Waters is a mid-range weapon built around maneuverability during combat.
The update is available to download now and players are reminded to take part in the related events which can reward them up to 289 free pulls.
