Prime Arena Is A PUBG-Style Battle Royale Game Using MOBA Mechanics
Can't decide whether you're in the mood for some Dota 2 or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds? Feeling like you want the action of a huge survival death match but with MOBA-style mechanics? Or do you just want to play a MOBA-type game without dealing with annoying/toxic teammates? If so, you're in luck!
Prime Arena is an upcoming free-to-play game from Nival, the makers of the MOBA-like MMORPG Prime World. By its own admission, it's a "combination of MOBA and survival gameplay inspired by PUBG" that promises "no teammates, no cry!" You'll choose from one of 20 heroes and then get thrust into a battle with none of that pesky teammwork or socialization that other MOBAs demand.
Like PUBG, Prime Arena features a shrinking map as the match goes on and only one winner when the dust clears -- though we've no idea if a chicken dinner is included with your victory.
Prime Arena is scheduled for a Fall 2017 release. For now, you can keep track of the game, and Nival's promise to "follow players` feedback and ideas constantly" as the game takes shape on its Steam page.
