PSO2: NG x Overlord Collab Debuts Character Scratch Tickets As SEGA Celebrates 10 Million ARKS With Boost Events
Transform into Ainz or Albedo while racking in some extra rewards from the celebrations.
The latest collab announced for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis welcomes two prominent characters from the Overlord series, Ainz and Albedo, in the form of AC Scratch Tickets. Players can use them to change into their anime-inspired looks and gain Voice Tickets, Emotes, Weapon Camo, Stamps, and more to really sell the transformation.
PSO2: New Genesis's global version will include fully localized text and character voices in English for Ainz and Albedo. Those additions will remain content current with the Japanese servers. You can view a selection of images for how they visually look in-game on the PSO2: New Genesis website.
SEGA also launched a series of deluxe Boost Events and a campaign for players to earn up to 1,000 SG to celebrate reaching 10 million ARKS worldwide. Until December 6, players can take on limited-time Tasks to make a lot of SG and earn Autumn '22 SP Scratch Tickets and bundles of SG as gifts for simply logging in.
As for the Boost Events, there are three separate weekly events, with the last ending on December 6. All versions will require players in Sectors like Mt. Magnus, Vanford Laboratory Ruins, and other areas to reap the benefits. Starting today, players can enjoy +50% EXP and even +100% in some combat areas until November 21. The following two will offer increased rare drops and seasonal points within the upcoming weeks.
