PUBG’s Previously Teased New Map Is A Waterlogged City, And Now It Has A Release Date
Get ready to travel to Deston in July.
On July 13, PUBG players will have an all-new, very-wet map to play around in. The company has teased the map before but today we have a better idea as to what it will be like. As seen in a trailer released today, Deston is a big map and it’s not just one thing. Playing on this map, players will fight in a city filled with tall buildings as well as rural areas consisting of everything from plains to swamps. Each area will offer its own unique challenges and players will need to learn them all.
In addition to the new map, the upcoming update also introduces a motorized pulley and an emergency parachute. Also being added are a Blue Chip detector -- which is a spotter scope, but for up-close interactions – as well as two new weapons: the Origin 12 slug shotgun and the MP9 submachine gun.
A closer look at the new map was provided in a Dev Talk stream. It can be viewed below.
