Benedict Cumberbatch Joins The World Of Tanks Holiday Ops As The 2026 Ambassador
That means a new short film featuring the Marvel actor.

The holiday season has arrived, and even in war games, that means it’s time to celebrate. In the case of World of Tanks, Wargaming is once again hosting the Holiday Ops, and Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the festivities as the official Ambassador for the event.
The event begins on December 5 and will last until January 12. During that time, the free-to-play shooter will offer players festive missions, rewards, and more. And the whole thing will be overseen by Cumberbatch from the holiday garage, where he will be handing out special assignments. Of course, there will be special rewards related to the celebrity, including an in-game tank commander appearance with his voice.
As is now tradition, World of Tanks has teamed up with the Holiday Ops Ambassador to create a special short film. This year, Cumberbatch plays a therapist helping a shy office worker who is scared to talk to his crush.
