As Jeffrey Steitzer, the voice of the multiplayer announcer in Halo, says: “Team Deathmatch.”
Riot Games has officially announced the introduction of a new game mode called Team Deathmatch, launching with VALORANT Episode 7 Act I on June 27. In this 5v5 mode, players will battle against an enemy team in three custom maps. Players can choose their loadout at the start or in the spawn room, with weapon spawners and orbs placed throughout the shooter's map. The objective is to reach 100 kills before the opposing team, with respawns every 1.5 seconds and no economy system.
Additionally, the in-game progression system will receive updates, offering new ways for players to earn rewards. Daily missions will be reworked and include checkpoints as milestones. A new in-game currency called Kingdom Credits will be introduced too, which can be used to unlock various accessories. Agent recruitment events and more features will also be included.
