Rocket League Season 7 Is Really A “Shiny” New Update
There’s a lot of guilding going on.
Today, Psyonix kicked off the seventh competitive season (since F2P launch) for its soccer car game, Rocket League. The new season is super-shiny, featuring the new car ‘Maestro’, a new arena, and all kinds of shiny rewards. The Maestro, like several things in this update, has a guilded look with gold grills and other accents. More important to gameplay is the fact that it uses the Dominus hitbox.
In keeping with the shiny theme, the new arena, the ‘Utopia Coliseum (Guilded)', is now available in online playlists, private matches, and free play. There are even some shiny new items for Pride month, including a sequin paint finish and a Tiara: Multichrome topper. These are part of the ‘Shine Through’ bundle which also contains new anthems from queer artists like Trixie Mattel, Todrick Hall, Adore Delano, and Conchita Wurst. A full list of additions and changes is available on the Rocket League site.
