Star Trek Online Christmas Goodies

If you thought Christmas was over – apparently it’s not in Star Trek Online. For some reason (and we’re not going to ask why) there is a Santa Gorn and he’s giving free packs to STO players through the end of the year.

This isn’t one of those item-a-day things. It just means all players have until January 2 to grab their gift from the Promotions tab of the Zen store. (That way if you’re traveling due to the holidays here on Earth, you still have a chance to get yours.) Speaking of, the free gift is a free pack of upgrades. It contains an experimental ship upgrade, an elite captain training token, and an elite bridge officer training token. It may not seem like a lot, but hey free stuff is free stuff.
