Save The Most Adorable World In HIG’s New Sandbox MMO Dragon & Home
Explore, build your own home, protect the Tree of Life, and do it all with the aid of a witch.
Today, developer/publisher HIG released their casual sandbox MMO Dragon & Home on Steam. The free-to-play game takes players to a world nearly destroyed by an apocalyptic fight between two dragons. During the battle, the Tree of Life was damaged to the point of near-collapse and in a last-ditch effort to save itself and protect the world, transferred its energy into the Seed of the World. Of course, as with all things “big magic,” the transfer had unintended consequences and changed creatures about the world. Now, it’s time for heroes to help the Tree of Life and save the world. Don’t worry, you’ll have the help of a witch – as well as everyone else playing the game.
Of course, you’re not just playing the hero. You still have to survive in this crazy world. That means learning to fend for yourself – gathering, hunting, mining, and fishing - and while you’re at it, you’ll build your dream home. This can be done in offline mode and has no restrictions as to what can be built, so the sky’s the limit.
Dragon & Home is available to download via Steam today. It’s technically in beta for global players, so you may want to expect some issues.
