Signups Are Now Open For Mongil: Star Dive’s Second Closed Beta
Help test new story and new systems and meet a new character.
Between September 30 and October 10, Netmarble will be running another Mongil: Star Dive closed beta test. The test will introduce Episode 2 of the monster-collecting action RPG’s main story, focusing on the 9th Brigade of the Solar Knights. It will also offer players the chance to try out the Monsterling Link Chain system. This system expands on Monsterlings, which allows players to equip the monsters they capture as keychains and lets them evolve and provide useful effects in combat. During the test, players will have access to 30 new monsterlings to use in this new system.
On a side note, it appears that monsterlings can also be used in minigames like Monster Racing.
Also being introduced in Closed Beta 2 is a new raid boss – “Amon” – as well as new dungeons. The dungeons will provide players with ways to enhance both skills and artifacts, as well as collect resources.
Players who are interested in taking part in the test can sign up now on the Mongil: Star Dive site. As the test kicks off on October 30, signups are open until October 29. The game’s client will be available via the Netmarble Launcher or the Epic Games Store.
