MONGIL: Star Dive’s Devs Answer Player Questions In Surprise Livestream
There are things they want you to know before the game launches.

It’s only been a couple of days since the MONGIL: Star Dive team hosted the First Dive Show, a stream intended to introduce would-be players to the action RPG monster taming game and provide some details ahead of launch. Apparently, they decided that wasn’t enough information for players and hosted a live developer stream early this morning.
The stream was effectively a live Q&A with the devs answering questions from both the stream chat and their website. The stream is fairly long, and some of the questions and answers aren’t really relevant to the game itself. For instance, they spend a bit of time talking about one of the devs’ choices in promoting the game. Luckily for us, one of the viewers, LostArk_history, summarized some of the key points that most players might be interested in knowing about.
We now know that starting out, players will be able to earn 562 Event Banner pulls and 112 standard 5-star Banner pulls by just playing the game. Character duplicates – what they call “breakthroughs” can change mechanics but aren’t necessary to clear content.
If you’re looking for a lot of male characters, this might be the wrong place. The current answer is that they “will give it full consideration,” but that, for the time being, male characters “could be included” if they’re determined to be “absolutely necessary for the plot”.
Viewers also asked about censorship when it comes to character outfits, and the devs stated that what we’ve seen is from the live build and there won’t be any censorship. As far as multiplayer goes, there are no plans to support that. Nor is there a PvP system in the game. Those interested can watch the full stream below.
