Space Punks Just Got "Bigger And More Badass" As The Core One Update Revamps Key Game Play Loops
First the updates were talented, crafty, and friendly...now the team tackles early access gameplay feedback.
Flying Wild Hogs keeps plugging along on their looter game Space Punks and the team claims that today "The Core One" update makes the game "bigger and more badass." Using feedback from early access players, the team has used this patch to revamp the core gameplay loops in the space title...and this is only the beginning.
We've already had a UI revamp, a crafting revamp, and the "friendly" revamp, but now it's time for the gameplay itself to start getting new love in the form of new story missions, an overhaul of the Restarting Mining Facility challenge, the ability to unlock planets and game modes with Hero level and Power level, and a redesign of difficulty levels.
The dev team will even be mailing you in-game each day with a "message of the day" and updated game news.
If you want to get in on the space shooting action, you'll still need to buy a Founder's Pack for now. Core gameplay updates will continue to be released in the next few updates so it seems players will be in for continued changes over the next few months.
