Star Trek Online’s Summer Event Takes On A Renfaire Vibe With Medieval-Themed Rewards
The Hysperians bring gifts of swords and magic rings.
Ah… Summer… The time of year when all spacefaring ship captains' minds turn to the vacation planet of Risa. On June 28, Star Trek Online’s summer event returns, bringing with it favorite activities such as powerboard races, biathlons, hunts, and more. And at the end of it all, players get an all-new T6 ship, the Hysperian Intel Battlecruiser. It’ll bring a little bit of medieval times to the universe.
In addition to the ship, the MMORPG's event offers players other Hysperian-influenced rewards. These include an Elysian Spellsword, the ice-summoning weapon Neve’s Icy Talons, a ring with magical defense properties, and an Elysian War Magick set. This set will allow players to mix sword strikes with spells.
Players will have a month to earn all of these rewards. The event doesn't come to a close until July 28.
