Super Animal Royale Exits Early Access On Steam, Launches On Switch And Consoles
The launch kicks off Season 1 -- and there are pets, too!
Super Animal Royale, the cutest little battle royale to ever royale has graduated to a fully launched game, for Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 and 5. The launch brings the 65-player 2D battle royale filled with bloodthirsty critters' first competitive season and a whole bunch of new content.
As part of the game’s official launch, Pixile is dropping the v1.0 update, which introduces cross-play, Season 1 content, a map update, Super Frogs, and even mini animal pets – so your animal can have a smaller animal hanging out with it. Even though it's called Season 1, it’s not technically the game’s first season. An Animal Pass Archive has been created so that players can go back and play earlier seasons and not miss out on anything.
As for the map update, it expands the Super Animal Farm and introduces the Mini Ranch, a petting zoo for the mini animals. Perhaps it’s to keep them safe while you’re slaughtering your fellow critters. One final bit of good news – particularly if you live in South America – is that there's now a South American server, and it supports Brazilian Portuguese speakers.
