SWTOR's Next Story-Driven Expansion, Knights of the Eternal Throne, Kicks Off Dec. 2
The newest story-based expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic is almost upon us, with Knights of the Eternal Throne going live in the game on Dec. 2. Following up on the events of Knights of the Fallen Empire,
Knights of the Eternal Throne puts the player at the center of their own explosive battle to rule the galaxy. As the Outlander, a veteran of the Great Galactic War, players will have the power to make their mark based on their light and dark side choices. Stakes are high as the player faces the most powerful villains in the galaxy including Emperor Valkorion and Empress Vaylin, as you lead the fight to take control of the Eternal Throne!
There's a new Galactic Command system coming with the expansion, introducing Light vs. Dark battles and "all-new erupting confrontations known as Uprisings," as well as three challenge levels for encounters.
As with KotFE's chapters, the new content is included with your SWTOR subscription. Players subscribed by Oct. 25 get the bounty hunter Shae Vizla as a companion character, while those subscribed as of Nov. 27 get the Rapid Recon Walker Mount. If you're subbed throughout the entire period leading up to release, you'll get a three-day headstart on the content.
