After a short closed beta that felt much more like a closed alpha, Tactical Intervention has launched into open beta. The shooter which was developed by one of the original Counter Strike developers, hosted a limited closed beta earlier this month and will now host a public open beta for everyone in North America till the 25th.

My experience within the closed beta had fleeting moments of good fun, but it was overall marred by the abundance of bugs present in the game. There was a good variety of mechanics, but their implementation was poorly executed and the move into open beta seems rushed. If OGPlanet can focus on working the kinks out of Tactical Intervention it could actually be a fairly entertaining title with similarities to the Rainbow 6 franchise. Plus you can shoot propane tanks and watch them fly across the room. That never gets old.

After the open beta comes to a close, OGPlanet will shutdown the servers till the 28th (When the game officially launches). If you’re interested in trying the tactical FPS out you can do so by following the link here.

    • johanxshinigami on March 21, 2013

The game has horrible graphics and the gameplay is unappealing. Just uninstall the game cause there is nothing special about that is worth your time……besides the dogs!

This is a really fun game, if this game released 5 years ago, no, 8 years ago.
This game makes me recall the CS1.6, and designers add so many fun elements in there, like car chase and “Pet kill”.
Yeah, Im happy to play this game, as the last memory of my CS1.6 age.

“you operate system does not meet the minimum requirements to install pando media booster”
    kidding me?

    • Razer on March 16, 2013

Pando media booster is a shiesty downloader anyway. No game is worth installing PMB on your computer.

After playing Warface for quite some time, i gotta admit i wish more studios gets shut down for making shitty games. The game reeks of mediocrity. Looking forward to TI, but still not seeing anything special that will offer anything better than any other low tier crap fps. Some bad car chases, don’t see helping the game. Also, only NA, sure smells like the closed NA beta some time ago.

This game is a joke. Im sorry but this is sooo wrong.
    1. Look at this graphics. i mean, i am not one of those guys who enjoy a game just because of good graphics but look at this. This could be realeasd on Dreamcast and on DC there are many games with way better visual effects.
    2. Like we dont have enough shooter to play on this earth. Does it come up with anything new? No, so why would someone even consider to try this?
    3. OG —> quality over quanity. Mabye think about it…?
    4. That exploding building…i watched it 4 times now and everytime i have to laugh.

Everytime i played a OG game back then, it was a sad experiance. So, no. Forget it OG. Never. Start coming up with good games and MAYBE ill give u one more chance but bevor that will happen, i will see a flying pink elephant.

Its not faily brah , il be quit biatch … this game is made by the guy who invented/created half life and CS , so its impossible to be not egual or even better …

    • Razer on March 16, 2013

“its impossible to be not egual or even better” That is just plain wrong for so many reasons.

  12. Cacalips on March 15, 2013

Honostly, I do not see how anything can fail more than Heroes and Generals. That is total Alpha material taken over by hackers, and released as “Open Beta’. Soooo baddddd.

    • Dani on March 19, 2013

What hackers? in this game? Nah you wrong bro you didn’t even play the game. 😛

  13. adenbrazza on March 15, 2013
