The Forgotten Treasures Update Brings 21 New Cards to GWENT
Includes unique artifacts, units, other tidbits!
Today, CD PROJEKT RED announced the Forgotten Treasures update for GWENT, featuring a list of 21 new cards to utilize and expand the existing game mechanics. All of this, and much more, are available now as part of the game's latest patch, 10.4, which helped balance the moment-to-moment gameplay.
Of the 21 new cards, 16 are gold and the remaining five are bronze types and include various artifacts, special abilities, and units. CD PROJEKT RED also revealed that the imagery for the cards was inspired by the Golden Nekker Project, which is a single-player spin-off currently in development that uses the core gameplay and mechanics of The Witcher Card Game. And you're in luck because the card drop will be available for free as part of the update with the previously mentioned 10.4.
Starting today, you can also buy the Forgotten Treasures Pack, which showcases the free drop cards in their vivid premium animated versions. Adding onto that will be the all-new Abandoned Laboratory game board. It'll be available until May 10, 10:00 a.m. Central time, so don't wait if you're interested!
