The Sixth Annual MapleStory Fest Revealed Kanna And Hayato's 6th Job Skills And Was A Success According To Guests
Over 600 fans attended the sold-out event in Los Angeles, CA.
Nexon celebrated its sixth annual MapleStory Fest on October 14 in Los Angeles, CA.
The sold-out event attracted over 600 MapleStory fans and featured exclusive announcements, Q&A sessions, a merchandise store, and various activities like trivia and a claw game. The event's highlight though was the world premiere of Kanna and Hayato's 6th Job skills, as well as the introduction of MapleStory M’s new character Adele, who will be joining in the winter.
Wonki Kang, the executive director of the game, was in attendance too. He shared insights about the upcoming New Age update and 6th Job skills, offering a glimpse into the future of the MMORPG.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the heroes who have loved GMS for a long time,” said Kang, executive director of MapleStory. "We have put a lot of effort into the 6th Job Advancement and 6th Job skills, and we have also refined the growth speed and growth section to reach level 260, and we have carefully prepared the newly added areas, boss difficulty, and system.
We will also focus more on the development of GMS,” he continued. “In addition, we plan to focus more on various activities to expand IP not only in games but also in various cultural projects such as goods."
According to fans, this year's event was better than the previous one. There was more to do, a larger venue, and better freebies. They also noted that attendees could customize their own shirts, and that the merchandise sold was different than last year (with some of the same items).
Guests also received goodie bags that contained various items, including an NX outfit for GMS, something for MapleStory M, postcards, and snacks. And many folks were reportedly excited to see Kang at the event.
