There’s A Robocraft Sequel On Its Way And You Can Sign Up For Playtesting Now
Freejam announced Robocraft 2 on Reddit.
Indie developer Freejam announced a sequel to its first-ever game Robocraft yesterday. The physics-based online shooter, brought about by the question “What if Minecraft and World of Tanks had a baby?”, is being followed up by Robocraft 2.
This new game will be set 100 years after the first as two corporations return to Mars in a bid for a resource known as protonium. Players fight over this resource, taking to combat in vehicles that can be destroyed block-by-block. But, even when the vehicle is destroyed, the fight isn’t over. Players can continue the battle on foot using a QMG Assult Rifle.
It will be a bit before Robocraft 2 launches. In fact, we have no date for that, but that doesn’t mean that players will have to wait the whole time to play it. The game already has a page on Steam where players can wishlist it and request access to the playtest, so if you enjoyed the first one, go ahead and check it out.
