Turbo Golf Racing Introduces A Free Content Update That Includes A ‘Delicious’ New Car Alongside The Game's Upcoming Roadmap
I scream, you scream, we all scream for Whippy, the ice cream truck car.
Turbo Golf Racing has only been in early access for close to two weeks now and Hugecalf Studios is already releasing a free content update alongside a closer look at what's to come with the reveal of the game's roadmap.
The free content is live now, adding six new levels, two new Power Cores, a host of cosmetic items, and the Whippy (a literal ice cream truck) car. In addition to the free, new content is the reveal of the game’s roadmap. While not the most in-depth roadmap, it does give players a general idea of what's coming soon and other events that are a bit further off.
Next to enter the game will be a new biome, new levels, private lobbies, new cosmetics, an improved quest system, cross-platform parties, global leaderboards, and finally an Early Access Season 2. Then, before the game leaves early access, there should be an Early Access Season 3, new pick-ups, an improved missile system, ranked mode, new game modes, in-game stats, and achievements.
Lastly, on top of the new content and roadmap, Turbo Golf Racing has also mentioned several fixes that have been introduced. Spots and Shots received a level fix after some of the players’ balls would get stuck in the hole. Levels have also been fixed to no longer allow skipping of levels in an unintended way. Also, players who have been experiencing a “Waiting for Qos results” when searching for a match should manually select their region from the settings menu until a permanent fix has been found.
