Valorant’s Fracture Map Is Getting Some Quality Of Life Love, But Not A "Total" Revamp
The game’s lead designer teased the changes changes recently.
After a year in action, Valorant’s Fracture map is getting some love. Don’t go thinking full overhaul, however. Instead, the map will be getting some quality of life changes. Riot Games' Level and Game Designer Joe Lansford, otherwise known as “Pearl Hogbash,” teased the changes in a video recently. He didn’t go into great detail, however. Instead, he just mentioned a “high-level theme” of quality of life changes throughout the map. He also noted that they intend to make A Site more defensible and perhaps make changes around Dish.
But, he’s very clear about the fact that this isn’t a rework. In fact, he noted as much on Twitter. The distinction he made is that the core gameplay will be the same. They’ll just be paying attention to some of the finer details and making things nicer for players.
Just to clarify a bit, we're not really "reworking" the map. The core gameplay will still be the same. Like I said in the video, we're making quality of life changes and some updates around A and dish.
Excited to get these out to everyone soon! https://t.co/bZTahezxy2
